No modifiers through strategy

First sorry for my bad english.
My Prob:
If i join any game, no strategy works correctly. Last game (Rome Political) i take the strategy "Perfect Defense" but my main defense units have no modifier +1. I have this prob with any strategy in any game if i join. If i open a game by myself, i have no probs. Can you fix it?

A friend of mine has i think the same problem.Before the game starts he picks sm but when the game starts he has the pros and cons of blitz and when he checked what strategy he picked he saw it wa saying sm...

No, the same in quick games...

It seems, something going wrong

Note: in german "Perfect Defense" means "Perfekte Verteidigung"

Anyone else have this problem? It happened to me again today.

The only way I've found to guard against is pick a strategy at the start. So if you had one already selected, select it again. Maybe the default of what you used last time isn't working.

I am still having games where I do not have strategy modifiers even though I selected one.

I think this is related to not picking a different strategy. Your last used that shows and what used to be your strategy is NOT working. I just did this in a casual game. i joined. I saw my strategy. I clicked a country and clicked ready> Then my units had no modifiers.

I think jimmynow is correct. Same happened to me (in a casual game).

Created a game -> picked a country -> picked Master Of Stealth (same as the previous game) -> no unit modifiers present in the game even though it says I have MoS selected.

A very annoying bug as it basically cripples you for that game.
