2nd Server Poll

Decided to do a 2nd poll since many European players (including me) are having trouble with the new servers recently.

Ah what abt people outside europe?

Agreed its very very slow and crashes often for me and I'm from Europe.

Answer as Europe as the Americas are farther than the old world

The first week server was same as before, now its bad, did dave cut server spendings?

Same here. The first week was actually faster for me, but I guess the hamsters stopped getting fed again.

Too many options , couldn't it be with just two options such as "slower than before" + "works normal"

Your location matters because the servers were moved to USA. You'd have less ping to the American server if you live in America. But it seems everyone is being slowed down.

For what it's worth, I haven't changed anything. The new servers continue to be faster for me. The hamsters are fed a diet of healthy nuts and grains, 3 times a day by beautiful American women.

However I did get a notice from the new host, they are doing some scheduled maintenance starting tomorrow (9/24) from 2:00am to 5:00am UTC. They say we may experience brief periods of latency or packetloss during this time. Just letting you know.

To be fair I was thinking about making a thread about it as well, i've noticed in the last few weeks (?) that things such as playerlist/forums/notification etc take forever to load, sometimes even ending up with an error or a message like: ''This page is offline at the current moment''.

Like nic said, the servers seemed faster in the beginning, but now im more leaning to the option ''Europe - Slower than before''

Should've stayed with the Dutch servers

I think Dave won't move the server anymore. He did say that its under maintenance. Basically, we just have to see the performance after the maintenance is over.
