More tips for Blitzkrieg

I saw the Blitzkrieg thread and I thought I could make some more expansions demonstrated here.

Vietnam

8 Tanks & 1 Infantry from Hanoi to Guangzhou
3 Infantry to wall Hanoi
4 Infantry and General from Hanoi, 1 Bomber from Danang to Naypyidaw
2 Infantry from Danang to Vientiane
1 Tank from Danang to Ho Chi Minh
7+1 Tanks, 1 Transport from Ho Chi Minh to Malaysia, 6 to Kuala Lumpur, 2 to Ipoh
6 Infantry from Ho Chi Minh to Phnom Penh
2 Infantry from Ho Chi Minh to Bangkok
3 Infantry, 3 Tanks from Can Tho to Bangkok

This is a pretty unique expansion in my opinion.

I've never seen or even heard of blitz Vietnam. I usually go GW, but this has a much better opening.

In EU 5k/3K (3k money will be tight) you can start as belarus and get both ukr and russa nw turn 1 and go on to get the rest of russia from nw and the rest of EU from ukr, I've fond it pretty good in 5K EU games. You get 16 reinforcements turn one whereas other players will only go for one country in the west and the east is just loads of smaller ones with little income and inf doesn't allow as much expansion, you will quickly become bigger than other players in east and take Germany via Scandinavia if you play well, you can get lots of units in from russia in as well to help with that. I find with blitz it is best to start of with tanks and some inf then slowly move on to inf as you get bigger, have more reinforcements and start to face other players. Even using militia to attack later on, not just walling and only sometimes attacking. This way you draw in masses of reinforcements that outnumber and outstat your enemy even if they are PD.

This goes on the assumption that you will get additional troops.

I can actually approve stickhammer's opinion about 5k Belarus Blitz start, he gave a good fight against Greece (idk the strat) and tried to take me (was IF Ireland) on, too. He lost, because i could build more troops, but Belarus Blitz does seem to fare well in the competition

In a 3 or 5k Europe game Belgium can work quite well with blitz. If you have a solid ally to hold people off in the centre then you can get rich quickly whilst others are either bogged down or running out of cash

Turn 1




Use tanks for 100% takes, I would send 1 tank per militia and use the 3 infantry to wall, Also take Zurich if only 1 (here random reinf gave 2) Make sure to send 1 marine in the direction of Portugal.


Turn 2

I forgot to SS but on Turn two use the newly gained reinf to build Helicopters (save 1 spawn in Switz) and send to Paris send any left over tanks and infantry, most important to send the militia from Luxembourg. Use the 1 remaining spawn in Switz to Wallfuck Madrid As your last move (very important it is last) send your marine into Madrid. Why you ask, well in a low cash game Portugal will always take Madrid and then either try to gain Spanish cities or fly to Paris nearly always leaving Madrid empty. Anyway here is the intended result -

Turn 3



Now me being a noob forgot to Wall fuck , but as you can see you now have good income to use the Paris reinf, if it works out fly in a few troops from Paris and Cap Portugal, 1 unit will do as they can't reach and don't have cash for At's . As you can see place a wall so your opponent who will most likely try to recap Madrid will be unable to get back even if they are able to take Madrid.

If you have a good ally in Central Europe you can fund them with all the west's money and turn 5 you are holding some very nice income areas and a decent amount of troops.


Not good to use if Ireland is an opponent. Anyway's a bit weird but maybe it will work for you GL

Never relay on allies for your expansions.

It's not relying on your allies, it is however relying on the other players being bogged down fighting or running out of cash.
