SHould the Kurds be given a state? If you disagree, what are you concerned about? If you think they should, how do you think this should go about? SHould they be provided funds and arms from outside nations? Or should they remain the ethnic minorities of multiple nations but should have their rights respected? Should only "certain" Kurds (like the Peshmerga) be helped or should all Kurds be helped? Let me know in the comments below and PLEASE stay on topic (you guys always put the off in off topic when it comes to debates.................. I assure you Balkans had nothing to do with current predicament).

The Kurds will get their state one way or another, specially now that the turks angered the russians(who will probably now support and kurdish state) and bassically the kurds have a state in syria-iraq but havent proclaimed independence yet.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but thoe attacks were caused by the PKK- a radical group separate from the Peshmerga. Furthermore, the Turks have discriminated greatly against the Kurds- while killing innocent civilians is never justifiable, the terrorist involved did not wake up one day and say "Let's go kill people", they did so because they wanted freedom and tried to obtain it the only way they've been taught. The y could not achieve anything politically due to lack of representation in Turkey's government leaving only violence as a way to seek attention. The PKK does not represent the Kurds as a whole. The PKK are Kurdish, but not all (not most) Kurds and members of the PKK.

Also, I am a little confused. I took your comment as sarcastic yet some of these links (such as Lice masacre) were atrocities committed by the Turks. Are you against both the Turks and the Kurds?

I'm indifferent to them having a state. They are a stateless nation, and should have one, but that's no concern of mine -- my country's own backyard needs to be cleaned up.

Personally, I would say 'yes' but I say 'no' to my country's leaders being involved and having any concern over there when we have huge problems over here.
(I'm in the USA).
