and it amazes me youve the audacity to call me out for running away when youve failed to confront any of the points ive made which challenge your i hate gays theyre weak and ruining society agenda.

may i ask what exactly it is you feel i'm running away from? i re-read our debate. i've addressed all your points and somewhere around page 4 you were reduced to petty insults and childish remarks. at which point i just stopped responding because you'd clearly run out of anything of worth to say.

What is wrong with a world free of the pain, fear, terror, and burden of religion, where children have strong male role models who they can trust and look up to, and who will lead them down the right path in life, enabling them to do the same later on? What exactly is BAD about this?

that sounds fantastic, an idealistic world however not a realistic one.

you know why we have all these religions? none of us know why we're on this planet, how we got here, why we're here. science has not yet found an answer.

and in some cases for thousands of years all these religions of questionable origins have popped up claiming they have the answers. and perhaps they do, we cant prove any of them wrong, just like they can't prove theyre right. which apparently is the whole basis of faith.

personally im not a fan of religions, history has shown them to cause more problems in the world than they solve, in the case of the catholic church a hierarchy of corrupt pious men in robes proclaiming to the masses that only they know how we can achieve salvation.

i agree with some of the core values of many of the main religions, treat people with love and respect, do not steal etc etc, and i do not begrudge those who practice them their faith, not unless they attempt to enforce it in others.

for example i understand how if someones going through a really dark shitty period in their life, i guess its probably a comfort to hope some divine presense can help make it all better.

i definitely dont think what youre espousing is a bad thing, i think it would be great, but some people have dedicated their lives to these religions, trying to turn them against their faith is a waste of time.

Why does it matter? Of course, I think it would be interesting to know. But at the end of the day, we're still here, you still have to eat and sleep and do whatever you gotta do. It doesn't really matter. It's not something to obsess over, and I think it's incredibly arrogant for someone to come up to me and tell me he knows exactly how it all began, and then threaten me to accept it or face hell for eternity. And I'm not known for my humility or lack of arrogance either in order to complain about it, so you can imagine how exponentially more arrogant these religious people are.

When you say that "we can't prove any of them wrong" you are making the same mistake you did previously in another post. It's not our job to prove them wrong. Here's an analogy. Let's say I come up with a story tommorow, I claim it is the truth, and I tell you to accept it. You will doubt me, and then I will say, "Well, prove it's not true." That's ridiculous. It doesn't work that way. The burden of proof is on the one making the claim. We don't notice this insanity because it's so common.

I don't think you need religion to treat people with love, or not to steal and kill, etc. You can have these things without the burden of religion. As for enforcing, religion, by definition, enforces. They IMPOSE. Think this, or you go to hell for all eternity. That's why, you can't be tolerant toward something that is so intolerant. Having vulnerability around abusive things is self-harm.

Someone with good upbringing and who has been raised with strong male role model around will find the strength within to go on. And he has one huge advantage over the religious delusional people: Self Reliance

When I see them propagating the very thing that has done so much harm I can't sit on the sidelines, there is a ROAR that won't let me see others go through the same pain. When you went through shit you want to prevent others from getting into it.
