I think Atwar is the best online strategy game on the market. It seems like there is no development or attempt to advertise this game on the end of the creators. Spend money to make money bro.

2k a month is nothing! That is just a start! I hope they email me.

And I meant best strategy game on the online market. Browser based. This is probably actually the best browser based game I've played at all. All I'm saying is this is a unique strategy game that is not replicated and ANYONE who plays risk would enjoy this.

With the addition of more complex ingame concepts like buildings for economy, troop upgrading, etc... this game could become a very strong presence in online gaming.

With simple advertisement it would work... Everytime I go to that crappy game "warlight" I end up getting 3 new guys to play this game because they never even HEARD of it!

According to what I've heard, they've been declining offers of people who can code to help them for free, I know a few who'd be willing to help without taking a penny..

We should start a crowdfunding campaign, "Hire A Competent Software Coder for the Online Multiplayer Game AtWar."

I genuinely think this would be a good idea

It's always those with the least knowledge who have the strongest opinions, Ivan and amok were inactive, what's the point in marketing a game with no lead devs? I keep the red shield to help them with day to day running, stuff some of the mods can't do and to help them. This is at the moment just a side income to compliment their main salary, there is no incentive to reinvest and Ivan is not up for spending money on the game, they just want 6000 lifetime premiums sold, a complete different direction to where i wanted. They should revise their strategy
My suggestion- They can be hard to implement
1. Revise and fix business model
There are plenty of players who are ready to pay 0.99$ for 1-day premium features pack.
2. Develop a single player mode
3. Fix all bugs
4. Mobile APPs ( Special app would be great but improving Mobile playability can help too)
5. Try to create new maps which copy and perform other strategic games'( chess, go and so on) gameplay
Note: I think the community cannot create this. You need dedicated teams.
6. Expand in the mobile market.
The money will find you.

Just asking, but how do you propose to appeal to mobile players (on quick of course, casual turns are definitely possible)? Micro is hard enough on the computer, apparently some (most) can't do it without a mouse...

I have tried to play scenarios(ww1- Romania, and Italy) on my phone. I have experienced problems too but I think they can solve that problems with developing a new app with mobile friendly UI( which is more sensetive to finger taps).
