Bans for alts?

Hi all, I was curious if there could be a way that bans for players could be automatically added to any alts created by that player. It's quite simple for trolls to create new accounts to ruin games and get around the banning system. If this would be too complicated, I wonder if there could be a way to make it available to all players what accounts are alts. I know in other games, each player has a unique code and when you click the code, all accounts with that same code are from the same ip address. By allowing players know what alts belong to whom, then they can do individual bans on each alt. Please feel free to comment your thoughts on this idea. Thanks!

Ehm why? I think history has proven itself when people got muted and banned by mods who thought they were in the right?

And alot of people know how to change IP frequently, no thing to do against that .

Seems unnecessary, would rather see admins spend their time on already proposed ideas/releasing map editor (not for me since I don't make maps, but the people that have been waiting).
