Hold the line is probably extra defence if they are in a defence line and longer defence lines. While scorched earth is probably a new unit (scorcher missles) and collateral damage increase for strat.

Hold the line doesnt work as intended and scorched earth is a pure troll strategy. It is quite funny to use. With our awol admins you can forget about them being developed for now but theyd only be novelty strats anyway.

And what about that "Buildings" tab?

That addition had potential. Ivan was looking at adding the abilty to create buildings in cities. For example fortifications, + 1 Def to all units. A reinforcement depot, a building to generate income etc.

Well with hold the line, my tanks in a defence line have as much defence as normal infantry do and my infantry in a defence line have more than pd infantry do. Apart from it being easy to take cities, this seems a bit overpowered

A high rank can easily spread lots of wfs, making the main point of HTL useless.

Scorched Earth looks like an interesting strategy though.

maybe the stretegy is that lines cant be broken unless the attacker has more attack and the units in lines getting buffed up defences hp or crit (or all) but they get slow range weak attack i might be wrong

That would'be fascinating to see, not only for this strategy but all around. Sadly it's not what it's being planned.
