Anyone got any ideas on how we can integrate the two? The competitive side of AW is in a decline with new talent and we are in need of new faces! As RP and scenarios take up about 60% of the game, has anyone got any ideas such as events, training coalitions...to help sway the games that are being played?

I already suggested Clan Warring for low ranks separated from Main ones and with competitive players as mentors and helpers in that low rank cwing. Those would be youth clans named like Cosa Nostra Youth, Syndicate Youth, etc.. but Waffel made me nervous with his comments and I raged alot so I deleted it. And it was great idea at all. I can write it down again

The Inquisition is the only scenario clan at the moment that plays clan wars in europe+ unlike other custom map clans, we try to integrate into europe+ instead of getting the competitive players to adapt to our maps.

Problem with that though is, in the past every coalition had a training coalition...but they eventually failed due to amount of time people could put in as it's not as easy as just making the coalition, think discussions between people such as helgan empire, helghasts and fappy-youth needs to be done! Or atleast the input to as why they don't pursue the competitive part!

I'd love to see a scenario cw like ww1 cw Also, some members of the helghan empire like me don't actually play RP, we wanted to start cwing but we haven't worked much on that

Scenarios cant be made into cws unfortunately, you can use the map, but you cant start a scenario.

That's probably because some scenarios are unbalanced and would make the game unfair. I'd say we could make some kind of scenario aproval, to allow some balanced scenarios into the cw room, where the mods aproved x scenario

There is no such thing as a "balanced" scenario.

My suggestion would be that we make extra city a default setting. My experience told me new players, in certain extent, refrain from playing 3v3 game in that extra is set as standard yet low ranks, mostly low rank and non premium, have got used to default europe map in a way they are reluctant to step out their comfort zone.

Too bad "competitive" players feels too much for doing something. Only way to integrate them is with time. With the time, those who are slowing our progress will eventually leave the game. The new generation, that was made on the extra maps & scenarios will be more careful about their other community members, and as that, diversity will eventually flow... We will see Clan Wars in so diverse maps and others scenarios, we will also see a lot of new players, enlisted in this new AtWar... P.D: Pretty sure vs stands of "versus" (against in English). The title probably doesn't means what you want it to mean.

I fail to understand why integration is necessary or beneficial to the AtWar player-base as a whole. I can see why the competitive player-base wants new players, but the competitive player-base is not representative of AtWar as a whole.
