So people have asked for scenarios here and there, but there's never been a central hub for these. This is what this thread is about.

Mind you, these requests don't [necessarily] go to me but anyone reading this. I'm not very experienced with scenarios but people like Gardevoir make excellent, highly balanced scenarios.
And this is where you pitch your ideas to people like these!

Let the innovation begin!

I'll start:

I've already made a scenario called "Turkish War of Liberation" to rival the Turkish guy's one which was highly unbalanced, but I messed up in the end despite it being far more factual. Feel free to clone it and see what it's like--who knows, it could be an excellent scenario. It has loads of potential anyway.

My requests:

  • A scenario surrounding the historical periods of either the Deluge or the war that made Russia a great power and [truly] united it at last.
  • A scenario like Colonial Empires with more than 3 units and perhaps a few less "Empires"! Look it up, it's epic in scope but it doesn't quite reach its potential because it has only 3 units. But it's a brilliant idea and it does get people to form complicated systems of alliances--which are encouraged, of course! Just a bit of balancing and allowing more units (!) and it will be awesome.

  • A Eurasian scenario revolving around the time period of the Crimean War.
  • A Europe scenario during the Renaissance.

Of course, all these require the ability to draw alternative borders. ;_;

I've made scenarios for the Mexican-American War, the 7 Years' War, and the Napoleonic Wars but no one seems to want to play them

Don't be like Gardevoir who deleted his really good WW2 scenario because no-one played it (that was when people played "WWII 1.53", not your scenario). All you need to do is just make it, advertise a bit on global and get people to come in. Pretty simple.

Napoleonic Wars? Sounds intredasting but not sure how you'd implement the coalitions and stuff. You can't have France (and the Netherlands and northern Italy) against more orr less every country in Europe as well as all its neighbours (Spain, Portugal, Germany, etc). And furthermore, Germany was a lot more disunited back in the day not to mention that France had the largest population in Europe at the time and a strong production. And above all, a brilliant general in the form of Napoleon, which the opposing side lacked, maybe except for Kutuzov, Wellington and Nelson.

PS: The Mexican-American War is a bit too small-scale for AW. Something like the Franco-Mexican War perhaps would be fine if you want a war in that region though it would be difficult to put in all the European powers.
