Never forget what happened September 11, 2001. #neverforget God Bless the USA If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd worked for all my life And I had to start again with just my children and my wife I'd thank my lucky stars to be livin' here today 'Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can't take that away And I'm proud to be an American where as least I know I'm free And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me And I'd gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today 'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God bless the USA From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee Across the plains of Texas, from sea to shining sea From Detroit down to Houston and New York to LA Well, there's pride in every American heart And it's time to stand and say that I'm proud to be an American where as least I know I'm free And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me And I'd gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today 'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God bless the USA

Tito, not all americans are atheists and not all americans believe god blesses america. You made a massive statement from ignorance, and consequently, a conclusion from fallacy.

In fact most americans believe in God and to rub some salt to Tito: - they have high percantage of believers, christians and people who actually attend church mass - in comparison to USA, Russia has greatly smaller percantage of christians, believers at all in fact since high percantage are atheist (soviet union legacy) and does who are religious hardly attend church ...only like 10% compared to more then 50% americans btw. karma ...really? lets not go there.

God Bless all those serving our country and who have served. All those who gave their life and all those families who have a brother, a sister, a friend, a child, who everyday wake up with uncertainty. May the world become a safer place one day, and may we all never forget the tragedies that affect us and others each and every day.

The fact that Tito continues to use terrorists attacks as ways to criticize the wets and this time in particular the US is absolutely ludicrous. How dare you come here on a thread that is about remembering all of those who lost their loves because of actions of extremist. Today is a day where we look back on that terrible and remember what happened not to have to defend our pledge and certainly not have to defend our ideas to people who do nothing more than take time out of their day to see what they can do to criticize someone else. For those of you who are actually here to remember what happened I applaud you. In addition, I ask for any of you who wish to do this but today at 9:11 pm observe just a one minute of silence. One moment to reflect on those who have lost their lives and have left families behind. To those who served in the war and came home and to those who perished fighting to keep us alive. And finally to those who ran into the flames, the danger, the dark shadows on that day, when everyone around them was running from it. We will never forgive those who carried out the attacks and certainly not forget. God Bless the US.

You forgot a number of 25% of russians who say they are spiritual but not religious ...you can add that to atheist. And as i said only 10% of russian religious people go to church, opposed to more then 50% americans. Conclusion ...russia has more people who bullshit about being religious. As long as karma is concerned... that was kind a pathetic, disrespectful comment. According to you jews must have done something really bad to deserve a holocaust, or terorist acts in russia are also "karma bitch" ...man, hitler must have been hand of God to the world, another flood from heavens. But thank you ...gona say "karma bitch" next time you mention certain "genocides". btw. love your comments about how your slavic culture prevents you from sticking your nose ...and other shit you said. Slavs and culture? ...yea right. You are like a weed on this forums that needs to be plucked out ...no culture, no respect, man with horrible desires, who belongs back to 20. century.

Good word Phoenix. It's sad that this has turned into a political debate. No matter who you are, believe what you want tobelieve, 4000 people died in a few plane crashes that were directed by terrorists. The first time war has ever come from a foreign party onto American soil. I encourage those of you who are trying to put down one of the greatest countries in history to leave and ignore thread, this is not for you. This thread is for the Americans who care about their country, and feel a sense of anger in what took place. Responses are not needed to this, as it is only a thread dedicated to the lives if those who wer loss. I do wanna leave you guys with a song by Toby Keith that gives me the chills every time I hear it because of the sense of pride it gives me. Well, I'm not one to speak on behalf of Americans, but certainly some probably don't give a shit about swearing oath to God. Sure they might do it, but they probably see it as very insignificant to their personal beliefs and way of life. Therefore, to those individuals who don't believe in God, the notion of them being oppressed is completely and utterly absent. Despite America having set beliefs for its country and a particular national pride, the country itself and its respective citizens are still individualistic more than anything else. As for the government saying their citizens are completely free, well, it's obvious that that's just pure bullshit. So I agree with you there, and the notion of the government slowly taking away liberties by the use of fear. So to return to your original statements; some Americans are atheists and are fighting against the government to change their laws accordingly; some are atheists who just don't give a shit; some believe in God and adhere to their government; and some believe in God and don't give a shit as to the implications this belief has with their government. And of course, there are more variations, I just listed a few. Americans are not as generalized as you described them to be... And same goes for all western countries; individualism makes these considerations much more complex.

This is the only argument that I will make... Most of what u said is somewhat right. Then you got to the freedom part. Umm hello? Obviously you have never been to America before. There is no rule by force here, we do have the freedom to do what we want under the law, so I'm not seeing the bullshit in that. Before you make an argument, please do your research first, thanks.

Nice joke. Everyone except liberal geeks say god bless America. You foreigners are so out of touch with who America is. Ik America is not liked by a lot of foreign nations for it's military prescience. But have u ever thought about it from our point of view? Wer tryin to help those countries out. What's even sadder is the ppl like u and Tito. I was not planning on callin ppl out, but I had too. You guys act like ur the all knowing wise sages who claim to know everything about America and yet don't live here. Yes god bless America is still used and will be used for years to come as long as the nation survives. Liberal wackos tried to do away with it, but this was shot down by a large majority of Americans.

if you think puting me in the same box as Tito serves your case somehow or gives you "points", let me assure you it does not.I am nothing like Tito and i certainly dont know everything. You didnt have to make this personal, i certainly didnt. My semi-sarcastic post was not meant to be informative in any way, i was mearly tried to challenge your perception of things and the way you see the world and your country. You know the world doesnt revolve around you and your country right? What is sad, but expected from a right wing "patriot" like you, is the fact that you use "we" when refering to Usa as a country, its people, its government and its foreign policy makers in general.Nobody has a problem with Americans, i love them as people, personally i have a problem with Usa foreign policy, its government (as well as my own) and conservative right wingers who cant see outside of their own little made up reality of the world.deal with it

I see this thread is getting very heated with comments against america. people are nit picking every little thing about the country. i always wondered why everyone hates on america yet americans like myself never hate on other countries. i never said once that america was the best. no country is. but an attack such as this shouldnt be used as an excuse to spill out hate against this country. when a post was made about remembering a tragedy in russia, i didnt comment anything hateful against russia. i gave my condolences to the innocents that were killed. If you want to hate on a country, fine. go make a topic about it, thats what this section of at war is for right? this is not the place to do that. I have never once made fun of another country or went as low as to come to a thread about a terrorist attack and tried to bring up politics. That is despicable and no matter how much hatred you may have, the least you can do is not comment on this section. I didn't cause you harm, no one on at war caused you harm. But there are people here who have been affected by 9/11. The least you can do is show a decent shred of respect for this tragedy and instead of tarnishing the thousands that were killed, you should leave it the hell alone. I recently saw a photo of a dutch women whose son was on one of the planes that hit the world trade center. Are you going to make comments about how the dutch are horrible people today? Are you going to say how her son deserved to be murdered? Go ahead. Keep saying how America is evil. But at the end of the day, killing is killing. Plain and simple. At the end of the day, this is a thread for remembering that horrible day. Not for you to throw temper tantrums about the US.
