Simply. A proposal of taking a break on a "quick game". When a player suggest a break he can choose between 3 and 15 minutes. The break start as soon as the new turn start, and it need to be agreed by the mayority of the players, regardless of game's settings. The game cannot have more than one break in 45 minutes. After the 45 minutes you can have (if accepted) another break, and so on. For example, If you play 4 mins, your game can have one break per 12 turns of gaming. WHY WE NEED THIS? If you had played 4 minutes on a small map such as Europe + , you would expect the game to last no longer than one hour, but we know empirically that this does not happens, and some times the game can go up to two hours. In good terms, let's say simply that some people have life, and they cannot dedicate this time for the game. Sometimes you simply need a break, for drink water, do some fingers exercises and clear your mind. Sometimes you can do this in the middle of the game, but there is also sometimes in which you need to dedicate all the time for it. Sometimes you also have tough opponents ( hi laochra, bye laochra) that are for sure leading the game to late gaming. Also, it is very well recommended by experts that, for 1 hour of gaming you should have a 15 minutes break I've also though, 45 mins would'be the ideal but this can also be set to one break per 15 turns of gaming. So 15 minutes if the game's turn last 1 minute, and one hour if they last 4 minutes.....) Another thing, unlike most of the settings, when someone request a break should be show in the same running turn, in the same minute it was suggested. If various players suggested a break with different amount of time, it should be show too... Why accepted by majority? because we all know there can be someone that doesn't have obligations and therefore, can play full minutes. So this player would try to get advantage of you, if you have family, by declining all the proposal breaks. Why only one break? For avoid abusing. I would say the break should be forced, but would be more democratic if the majority agrees.

No Support.. But a better idea is a pause button, it's simply all players must agree to pause, or 3/4 or half.

Lets put idea like this. Im playing world, killing 2 players they have 30-50 minutes at max. I have like hour, maybe litle more time. They suggest 15 minutes rest.Cuz its 2 of them they can outvote me.So they defend 40 minutes more and again rest. What choice I have ? I must leave NO SUPPORT

I agree with the general idea, but as MOU said, a pause button would be more interesting. Sometimes, I'm in cw and someone rings at my door, last time I couldn't answer and the person went away, I never knew who it was. At other times, I receive phone calls or stuffs happens like someone dcs. I propose that we get a pause button, which could be optional at the game creation, so that went something like that happens, one can pause the game for 4 minutes maximum (could be a definite time or not, but max 4 mins). To prevent abuse, a player could only pause once per game, or only one pause could be allowed per game. Since it's only 4 mins, it wouldn't be so bad anyway. Inb4: Goblin disagrees and wants 2 mins turn mandatory.

"No support" yet nobody includes this on their argument:
That it can be abused is not reason for not supporting. Game features zoom button, we all know how to abuse it yet they are still in game. This is about looking for the advantages and disadvantages and, in my opinion, if this feature gets implemented his advantages would simply outnumber his disadvantages. I am aware that my suggestion is not the best, we can look for a way for this feature to get implemented in the best way possible, for minimize the drawbacks. But just don't simply post " no support" without any constructive argument please. On a completely unrelated note, "Pause" sound better for a video game yes, but "Break" sound better than pause for a war - strategical game. Whatever is the name, is the same feature.
Why would you play a game if you have few time? You don't join a whole world game with 20 players and expect it to finish on 15 minutes ............. that is not reason for no support.

Is that not what Casual games are for? For those who don't have the 1++ hrs it can take to play a Quick game. Just a thought.

I support the idea in principal, but the potential for abuse outweighs the advantages. If you are playing with respectable players you trust, and you haven't locked your settings, you can vote for 12 minute turns, which does give you a break for relief or answer a knock on the door. Perhaps a single 5 min break per game *might* be acceptable, for those emergency house fires, so you can get to you neighbors computer and log on there.

A 'Propose Pause' option would be nice, after clicking which, there'd be a vote( that you can't just ignore by clicking X) that would require 3/4 of the players to agree.

Why would you play a quick game if you don't have the hours to waste it can take to play one, when you could play a casual game and schedule your game time around your life? I understand things happen, "emergencies", but come on a pause button just so you can answer the door? Which is more important, your life or the game? Or are they one in the same?

You don't need a break in a quick game. Just finish your jacking off before hand. EDIT: This is what casual games are for. I can fucking take a piss in a 4 minute game if I finish my turn quickly or get a glass of water in a 3 minute game. Just stop being a lazy cunt and be fast.

No support. I don't think its needed. If you are playing the game it is assumed you have the time for it. What I would like to see is an option to save the game data for each turn and then you can maybe create a new game from that saved data. But maybe too complicated.
