Same as above. I played as Turkey and I lost in Romania with 7 infantries and a tank against 6 militia, which eventually cost us the cw.

you do not know whether the militia had 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 HP so lets say purple added 1(that we do not know if it got the shock from the last unit attack or not lets claim full hp) and battle was ended and turned to 1 inf vs 1 militia who will win? 75%~ same results considering the defender tie come on who are you convincing with this....... if 14 cannot beat 10 then there is a problem there is a big problem there is a dice throwing not a little part of skills , oh come on a city like rome lost for some kind of bullshit wtf is this... all of people claim they want the bigger numbers to win and here i do not see the bigger numbers winning i just see the bigger number units are doing worse by 40% considering the amount of units advantage so deal with it and throw 10 inf 10 inf in everywhere and pray for rolls what ever your enemy send thats how the retards want the game to be you weren't there yesterday to see the LB rolls a IMP germany got against my IF uk/france 1dreanaught rolled 34 critical hit and killed 3 of them and at defending so it got another hit because they couldnt kill it and it finished off the 5 dreadnaught vs 1 battle +3art imp at turkey side killed 3 IF inf defending too doesn't the critical make the game already none predictable? even rolls?

It's still annoying. Most of the times when I do this I win 80 if not 90 percent of the time and most of the time with 2 or more soldiers who stay alive. Here's a screenshot of the result I had when I tried it again: I didn't fail any of these battles with the same number of units I sent in the cw game, which means that the amount I sent was supposed to be close to 100 percent sure I would succeed, but I failed...

Just for clarification. None of us want the rolls system removed or anything. We are just asking for a little more consistency. 9 sm bombers 3 inf failing an 8 inf neutral is not ok. Skills, strategy and good decision making should decide a game. Not lotto rolls. Is this such an outrageous thing to ask for?

Well actually u can consider that, thanks to those loto rolls, u are closer to reality than with mathematics. Maybe your troops had gastroenteritis ? More seriously even if it fuck your strategy sometimes, the fact that rolls aren't always conform to your expectations are a good thing. 1st it contributes to equality between pro players and noobies (who don't know the rules) ; 2nd. As i said it add something based on reality : humans, wars aren't maths, aren't logics, u can put on on the spirit of the troops for example. + the rolls never exceed a certain rate of inconsistency (except in a few occasions, ok).

then we demand: 1- ranks for troops and experience to decide their roll/states 2- support units to boost the army's rolls 3- weather in each country 4- difference rolls for attackers in turn 4 (winter) 5- Option of withdrawal of units when they seem they are going to lose a battle based upon player's commands (quit battle on 50% lose etc) that would get us closer to real world rather then syria declares war on isreal and gets nice rolls to win

+ 1k It should actually be possible to buy (very high cost) field officer, or air marshall, on 1 city for example, and 1 every reinf turn. Easy to do.

Well i always considered that it was trench and fort, with anti-air protection. I'm just saying that hazard is important too (and sometimes it takes u down really badly, that's life). U cannot dissociate strategy from hazard., there is always a part of it.
