Just re-suggesting an old idea of mine with a small adjustment now that there's a new owner and a chance for some changes to the game. Counter Insurgency Advanced recon units and extra protection against insurgency. All units gain: +2 defence against marines, stealth, militia, submarines, sentry -1 defence against tanks, destroyers, bombers, infantry +1 view Sentry Planes +5 attack +20 view range -230 cost Infantry -10 cost Militia -1 range Marines, Submarines, Stealth -1 attack +20 cost Basically sentries are given a new role as a predator drone that is very effective at spotting and killing stealth units. Edit: If possible, it would be nice to add a global -1 def modifier on marines,submarines,and stealth when attacked by sentries. This wouldn't effect any of the current strategies since sentries have 1 att but it will allow this one to be viable if it is added to the game. You can't really give sentries more than 6 att before they become copypaste sky menace bombers. It just makes sense that stealth units should be weak to a unit that specialize in finding them.

This strat will be straight up trash against lb inf/tank spam or any strat that uses conventional units. But it will be an interesting strategy that is very good at spotting and killing stealths, slowing down massive militia spam and out maneuvering it.

Blitz was very popular for Center and west Asia countries. You can expand and attain territory from moscow to thiland in 5 turns while Europe East Asia and North America are still busy. Also It was useful for assist players in world games to spam units from Africa to India or Europe and help their allies. But it's not very relevant anymore because boss units became nearly free without any disadvantage to other units thanks to LB and bear in mind Blitz was nerfed. Also regular world games are not as popular and when they are played it's 50K games with less than 10 players. At Afterwind's era only premiums could host world maps. I think it's time to bring that rule back to make default map relevant again.

Is the accidental nerf of gw not enough. Now you want to further humiliate it by creating a strat specifically designed to destroy it. I don't get the obsession.This strat is useless against anything that isnt a stealth strat. I would even question it's ability to counter mos. For example an mos player can simply use tanks and infantry to att into it.
Uh widely(and successfully) used across a variety of duel settings and scenarios for fast rushes. Ironically i see you specifically playing it all the time. How about giving its air transports and naval transports more range + capacity, then it could have 2 viabilities 1. great for spotting marines/direct counter to gw and MoS 2. Making it a transportation strat/strong transportation ability to match the range of early expanding It would give it a nice flavor and all in all it would be highly considered in competitive games and world games

That makes it a lowkey blitz/nc. We don't need another strat like that. Lb has also already opened up new possibilities for powerful expansion sniping since its strong and maintains standard ranges on its main units(tanks and inf). We need something different not more of the same. Sentry plane harassment isnt enough atm. Have you considered going down the offensive infantry front?
