This thread reached unbelievable levels of autism, it is true the Migrant drama is impossible for europe to take on and fix it just by absorbing waves and waves of immigrants, who aren't qualified, do not speak the language (or a crappy english) and some of them are islamic fundamentalists, plus in each boat, the dealer always travels in it + crime comes in that boat, even if it in a minority of people.

However, for how good the Human rights are and how cute they sound, and how cute EU's principles are, Europe can't absorb 1mln refugees just like that, at least in most countries, especially unqualified, (if they were all nurses, sure send them to the UK, they enslave nurses anyways with their crappy salaries ) but they arent.

Europe will choke and go back to recession, unemployment and calamity if the migrant drama continues to be faced by just stacking the migrants in refugee camps in Austria, Hungary and Serbia.

Europe and their too peaceful policies, mainly led by the war guilt Germany has due to WW2 and English snobbism of "it's nothing with us" and France's inability to take initiative, that will lead to the failure of Europe, Europe must not engage in a policy of taking in refugees, but to not let them leave the countries they came from (Libya/Tunisian area) and Syria/Turkey. This must be done by a rather military action on the countries of origin and or border patrol, and a political committment to solve crisis in the affected countries and the countries people flee from, (some even come from Mali and Níger!).

Once again, the problem isnt the migrants alone, the problem is Europe's inability to act quick and efficient.

Personally I see the migrants as a small benefit to my country, only if heavily controlled by the authorities, countries like mine (Portugal) and countries like Spain are suffering a huge inland desertifications (places the the interior like Bragança in Northern Portugal) and Galicia in Spain are suffering desertification in the fields due to the loss of population, which could only be "slightly" solved with these refugees, who can increase these desertified countries's populations and eventually help their economy.
Eventually in some countries, migrants can be a blessing due to their ability of giving birth like pigs, but that can only be controlled (due to crime and insurrections) by a heavy monitoring of the authorities.

Albanians starter coming in waves of thousands reaching the million pretty fast. Greece could not sustain and employ so many. The supply was so greater than the demand that they droped the wages in all jobs that didnt require much to insane and ridiculous levels. Hundreds of thousand of Greeks went unemployed the following years because they couldnt compete with a slice of bread and an applepie- wage and business owners never cared, all they wanted was cheap labour. The rest of them took up the drug, prostitution, extortion, rape, theft/ robbery road and raised the crime rates to insane levels. They also filled up the prisons where they make the majority now and control everything. Funny thing is now that Greece is in crisis a whole wave of them go back or elsewhere.

The Bangladeshi/ Pakistani immigrant wave in Greece wasnt that lucky. Due to a biggest cultural, religious and colour difference they were limited to 2 jobs here, clean windshields on traffic lights or work in the kitchen/washing sector on bars/ coffeshops and restaurants. Who paid American immigrants in 19th century? Why do you expect payment? For what?

Just let them settle and live, i dont see the big deal there. America was created by immigrants and they keep coming, but Europe is now panicking because of immigrants, fear and phobia i guess.

Though government can help immigrants to settle and start their business. Help them because they are new in the country. Take Russia for example, only in 2014 Russia recieved 1 million immigrants/refugees from Ukraine who fled civil war. Russian Government made plan to settle them all across Russia, give them IDs, healthcare cards, passports, little cash and find them job. Russia didnt had to, but it did to speed up their recovery from war/trauma.
