Player gave up, what about his country?

A player just gave up and abandoned the game. I had conquered his capital the turn before he gave up so I own the country. What about the rest of the cities in the country, will they have any units left, that I will have to kill to thake the cities?

Didn't you press end turn? Didn't you see?
Also according to your profile you have played no games. Stop making all these simplistic threads. You can find out by playing a single game for once.

The forum is for everybody to ask questions. My questions may seem simple for you who have played this game for a long time, but for me they aren't so stop making condescending remarks and help your fellow players instead. The reason why I can't see the other cities is because the country I conquered is Russia: Far East (please spare me any remarks that it's not a country, I know that) and there are three cities out of visible range.

You can see the colour, if it's grey it's neutrals, if it's coloured it isn't. Seriously this doesn't need half a brain.

I'm starting to agree with Aristo here. You're asking the most foolish of questions. I know a forum is here precisely for asking questions, but come on.

On topic: if someone leaves, their cities become grey/neutral. If you kill someone, their cities only become grey (neutral) 1 turn after they've been elminated, not on the turn they are eliminated.

Yes, you will have to kill the units he had after leaving, the only difference is that they will turn into neutral units, but they are still there.
