When playing Atwar I always come across a common enemy, time. Often I am forced to leave a game (e.g. I have to go a do a Job which I didn't expect to come up), a game continues on longer than I expected (I expected to win in 2 hours but the game lasts longer), or I can only play during a set short time (e.g. my lunch time) In many cases I have to leave a game which I am in a good ( and potentially winning) position. The reality is that I don't what to keep throwing away SP (by leaving the game), or surrendering when in reality nether of these reflect the game game, or reward me for the position that I am in. Consequently I propose the following way of leaving a game, "abdication", in this scenario your game wouldn't be counted as either a loss or win but you'd keep 100% of the SP you have earned, but none of you opponents. However you can't simply "abdicate" every game, whether you have the option to abdicate will be dependent on the following rules: 1. The game can't be a scenario. 2. In the game that you are in you must have at least 80% of the SP of the highest SP earing player. 3. No Cities in you home country can be taken by a an opposing player, and this must have been the case for 5 turns. 4.Your Capital must not have been taken in the last 7 turns and cannot be taken on the turn of the abdication. 5. Your income (excluding your allies) must exceed 70% of that of the highest earning player. I am happy to support other variations, and changes to the original idea, and I hope you support it.

Eh I don't agree, too complicated for it to work and definitely isn't needed. If your time is really that limited then I suggest trying out Casual World games, or w/e games you play. The SP you get from them is remarkable, I hope he doesn't mind but a busy mod like Pulse is still getting lots of SP, check his profile. If you're playing during lunchtimes then I suggest trying out 3k/5k 1 on 1 games or duels if you want to get sweaty. 3v3 games also take around 9-12 turns which is just under an hour, if you're unlucky it will usually go onto turn 20+ but that will rarely happen.

Yeah, man. Casual games are a great way to get my AW fix without fucking up my entire afternoon. I suggest to the OP that you join and/or create several casual games, this way you'd be able to make your moves during lunch break or whenever you can.
