I've seen a few people comment about mobile versions, but I think every can agree the game wouldn't translate to a phone/tablet/touchscreen very easily.

A mobile option could be used for some function though. I wouldn't mind having a tile on my windows phone that would let me know when it's my turn. I'm sure an Afterwind app could include things like your SP, buying upgrades, accepting or offering peace/alignment options, messaging.

It'd be a way to take Afterwind with you a little and still be useful even if you can't do your full turns.

Just a thought. I'm sure it can be refined.

Hmm, I think that playing AW isn't possible on mobile phones up to now. But, as you said, SP, upgrades, forums, coalition (easier way to access those things) and a reminder about casual games (reminder about your turn, or how many hours are left to make a move) would be nice.

I think a mobile version could only be for an iPad. Cuz the screen is big enough. But I dont think it would be playable trough a Phone.

We are planning to adapt AW for Windows 8 tablets.

iPad (Apple) is not supporting Silverlight (Microsoft) and I personally don't think they will support it in the near future. Because this game is based on Silverlight, Amok would have to make a completly new program. So it would be a lot of effort to make it work for iPad

This, and also the fact that I despise Apple and don't want anything to do with it
