A plan to raise American incomes
Hillary will:
Give working families a raise, and tax relief that helps them manage rising costs.
Create good-paying jobs and get pay rising by investing in infrastructure, clean energy, and scientific and medical research to strengthen our economy and growth.
Close corporate tax loopholes and make the most fortunate pay their fair share.
Hillary believes the defining economic challenge of our time is raising incomes for hardworking Americans.

Too many families are working harder and harder, but still not getting ahead. Our country is standing again, but we're not yet running the way we should be. From her first day in office to the last, Hillary Clinton will fight for you and for more take-home pay so you can get ahead and stay ahead.

Hillary understands that in order to raise incomes, we need strong growth, fair growth, and long-term growth. And she has a plan to get us there.
Strong growth
Hillary will invest in infrastructure, clean energy, and scientific and medical research to create jobs and strengthen our economy. And she'll provide tax relief to working families and small businesses. That's how we'll move toward a full employment economy that creates jobs, pushes businesses to compete over workers, and raises incomes.

She is a liar and will do none of this, what she will do, is disarm the American people, fund extremists abroad, further fund spy programs on the American people, cause more false flag operation at home and abroad to further turn the world into a unitarian police state controled by multinational billionaires.

Create good-paying jobs

Ya,Josip Broz Tito done same thing, made good paying jobs, giving 13th wage of the year,we all know what happened because of that.

Eshkruar nga Black Swans, 15.04.2016 at 15:04

and get pay rising by investing in infrastructure, clean energy, and scientific and medical research to strengthen our economy and growth.

I won't talk how she would do this,if there is any way to invest in what's already being invested.
I would rather talk that you have told that she will help working class,i dont think she will help anyone, nor working class,by increasing cost of using infrastructure, car taxes......

Is she so much idiotic?she first tells she will help, then she wants to get more money from roads, now she will increase incomes(more and more going in debt),any a little educated american should calculate and calculate and get in head that nothing will change about working class, but america will go into bigger debt.

Decreasing taxes,increasing debt that way,

That mean every country should calcuate the worth of basic goods and food and the total worth of that should be the minimum wage set by the state.

WOuld it be better to expand welfare programs to help with those needs rather than burden smaller businesses with having to pay more?

And how is this number calculated? What happens if a company cuts a workers hours because of raising the minimum wage? When Wal-Mart (in USA) announced it was raising it's salaries of its workers, workers began to have their hours cut short.

Weaker economies should try to make their economy grow and proportionally raise the minimum wage, to avoid recession or economical crashes or unecessary deficits.

About the US, I can't speak for a country that isn't mine.

Switzerland have welfare program where they subsidy far countryside settlements (far from cities), so they can keep their farms open and be competitive on Swiss market.

Iran subsidy oil and food, thus making those goods cheaper on the Iranian market, but it takes 1/3 of Iranian budget to do so. Now they plan to cut that spending(subsidizing).

So you can pick either minimum wage, or state subsidy to basic goods - result is the same = affordable basic necessities for citizens. The only difference is subsidies are made by the state, while wage is paid by the private sector (employer/entrepreneur).

-----

Small businesses are not burdened with minimum wage. Because if economy is weak, that mean product/good is cheap, which also mean worker is cheap. Therefore small bussines won't be burdened, they will be able to pay more than minimum wage, because of the cheap labour.

-----

In case of Wal-Mart; it is between the employer and employee. It's in the contract they signed. They can't do anything outside the contract, and if they want - they need new contract, signed by both parties. If one party disagree, in this case the worker, he can resign (or be fired) and seek new job. Employer cannot cut hours, cut salary or raise salary before making new contract. Which mean workers will be well informed and have time to make decision (after reading new proposed contract made by employer).

If any party violate the contract, other side can seek judicial assistance on court.

i'm not talking about high education, i'm talking about several months courses (mechanic, heavy trailers, electricy, even programing and etc).

let's assume George is working his ass but still stuck, he has no special skills he can't afford to stop working and study (especially not to pay for college) and he is stuck in the low class forever.

if at some point of his life the he gets opportunity to get a free course and few months coverage subsequently he would be able to make more money, provide better education to his children and pay more taxes, in addition, there is higher probability his children would get more opportunities than him and be more contributing citizens.

unfortenly, there is tons of people who stuck in their place and are helpless because they can't afford to stop their life and study, there are also tons of lazy people who take advantage of the social system, we should learn to encourage and help the families who do try to take care of themselves.

This is my take on minimum wage:

The minimum wage should be enough to pay for fundamental goods needed for survival, If it isn't enough then it needs to be raised by the state government, which is why i voted for raising minimum wage if the inflation goes up, but this is just a temporal solution that will not solve the problem at the long run. Minimum wage is a dead-end issue, the real issue is that the economy is horrible and average jobs that didn't required a degree now require College Education and 3+ years of experience to accommodate for the massive influx of people with worthless college degrees.

Before anyone blabs to me about how college is expensive and ladyd laddy da. You can go to community college which is very cheap and apply for scholarships. That's good on paper, in theory, but doesn't work anymore:

America have 325 million people, imagine if 1 million apply for federal/state aid, and state have to fund community college. That is alot of money. Now imagine China or India have to do that when 10-20 million apply.. each year.

About college degree, good example is Finland: they have very good education system, 90% of Finnish have college degree, while 50% of Finnish have PhD. You can't expect Doctor of Science to work manual labour, in factory, sweeping streets, or be a dirty mechanic. They lack factory workers and they have more than enough workers with college degree which can't find job in Finland because everything is already occupied. How to solve this problem? By inviting immigrants like Germany, and sending college educated unemployed to other developed states like USA to work.

But then nazis complain and you get people like Trump, AfD and Golden Dawn.

As far as "government policies to help the working class" goes, minimum wage is a pretty counterproductive one. Holding a minimum wage is not going to achieve anything meaningful except encouraging companies to hire less. A minimum wage can end up costing the very people it is designed to help.

I say we abolish it and replace it with things that actually work.

The reason why wages around the developed world are so low is because there is a deep pool of unemployed or semi-employed workers that depress wages by being desperate for jobs that don't exist. As anybody with an introductory education in economics knows, price falls when supply exceeds demand. Remove this pool of desperate unemployed workers, and the price of labor naturally rises. Problem solved.

How? Do what the US government did in the Great Depression. Hire millions of unemployed people to repair infrastructure, build low-income housing, or do whatever community service task needs doing at the moment. Increase the demand for labor and the price of labor naturally goes up.

Yes, of course this will cost a huge sum of tax money, having to pay millions of people for their labor. But honestly, governments are already paying them anyways. Since governments are already spending huge sums of money providing welfare for their unemployed (who, let me remind you, do absolutely nothing useful), just spend that money actually hiring them to do something useful.

If you abolish minimum wage, you will simply create 90's Russia where uneducated people create corporations while 90% of the working people will be below poverty line.

Why? Because employers will make deals with each other all to reduce wages, making working people to recieve same wage wherever they apply for job. They will reduce wages to 5$ a month while $500 will be needed for making ends meet.

You will simply fall from 1# developed country to 180#, your neighbor will be Congo.

Yes, price falls when supply exceeds demand, as we see today in oil prices. But (again) you will just create government debt for no reason. Because hiring millions of unempoyed to repair infrastructure and build housing will make debt exceeding GDP. Like Nazi Germany. That is not solution, it is artificial short-term patch.

Germany used Mefo bills, creating debt and short-term development which stagnated only 5 years later.

Because using taxes to fund your project is not feasible. You want to raise taxes in order to fund new project, projects to create jobs for unemployed - from which you want to take taxes in the first place!

-----

Solution must be long-term: use tax money and invest in business, thus helping entrepreneurs to create job and seek employees. Larger the business - more employees it will seek.

It is also popular method among populace as they see their tax money is returning to them.

Create good-paying jobs

Ya,Josip Broz Tito done same thing, made good paying jobs, giving 13th wage of the year,we all know what happened because of that.

nope western Germany did that for him .
And america is not yugoslavia, nor white americans are serbs.

and get pay rising by investing in infrastructure, clean energy, and scientific and medical research to strengthen our economy and growth.

I won't talk how she would do this,if there is any way to invest in what's already being invested.
I would rather talk that you have told that she will help working class,i dont think she will help anyone, nor working class,by increasing cost of using infrastructure, car taxes......

Close corporate tax loopholes and make the most fortunate pay their fair share.
Hillary believes the defining economic challenge of our time is raising incomes for hardworking Americans.

Is she so much idiotic?she first tells she will help, then she wants to get more money from roads, now she will increase incomes(more and more going in debt),any a little educated american should calculate and calculate and get in head that nothing will change about working class, but america will go into bigger debt.

Let me explain it to you.
America left " gold standard" long time ago,all oil trade is made in USD ,so USA can pretty much print as much money as they want.
She is not getting money from road, she is paying to build a roads so unemployed americans get a work, when there are shortage of workers price of their work rises.
SO IT WILL CHANGE A LOT.

Too many families are working harder and harder, but still not getting ahead. Our country is standing again, but we're not yet running the way we should be. From her first day in office to the last, Hillary Clinton will fight for you and for more take-home pay so you can get ahead and stay ahead.

Who in America works harder, americans just eat,eat and east in MC Donals,if whole world would eat like americans,no one would have enough 100years ago.
Why are you telling "our,we"you are from fking Bosnia from fking mountainous Balkan.
This last sentence is like propaganda xd

Your first sentence is generalizing and insulting.
So I can't support here despite all of that ? But others can support trump, putin and all others. At least i am supporting someone decent.

Eshkruar nga Black Swans, 15.04.2016 at 15:04

Hillary understands that in order to raise incomes, we need strong growth, fair growth, and long-term growth. And she has a plan to get us there.
Strong growth

Why she doesn't explain her plan, she is talking in nothing, shes just making dreams.

DO YOU EVEN READ ?

Hillary will invest in infrastructure, clean energy, and scientific and medical research to create jobs and strengthen our economy. And she'll provide tax relief to working families and small businesses. That's how we'll move toward a full employment economy that creates jobs, pushes businesses to compete over workers, and raises incomes.

first sentence in this part is like 4rd.
Do i need to explain reality of second part?
EDIT:i didnt wanna, but i think you will tell that i cannot explain.
Decreasing taxes,increasing debt that way,
again we.....
i think that if income will be increased, less people will have job,and unemployment will raise, good way to start a new crisis.

At the end i will add about her cooperation with mafia, file in CIA,and her no thinking statement when IRAN tested ballistic rockets that arent part of nuclear agreement.

Ps. first time i do this criss-cross quoting,if this fails idc

Someone who flips hamburgers for a living shouldn't be making $15 an hour. If you don't want minimum wage, don't have minimum skills. Before anyone blabs to me about how college is expensive and ladyd laddy da. You can go to community college which is very cheap and apply for scholarships. At the same time you can apply for federal and state aid. If you work hard during your high school years and do the work to get scholarships and aid, you can get a college education. Next, you can't major in a silly major that will get you no job. If college isn't your thing, go to trade school to develop a skill. If that's not your thing, then go into the military.

By inviting immigrants like Germany, and sending college educated unemployed to other developed states like USA to work.

But then nazis complain and you get people like Trump, AfD and Golden Dawn.

But what does America do when it becomes flooded with college educated people who then contribute to lack of these careers offered to Americans>
