I feel like it would be cool if you could buy certain things with reputations, or if they were at least not useless, but I understand that would be hard to implement. But I would suggest like a calling card thing (from COD) that you could attach to your name, simply for fun,

- Desktop and/or Steam version (but probably won't even think about his until after the mobile app is launched)
- Completely rewriting the legacy atWar code... one bit at a time

Not as much as I'd like.

Will the mobile app be cross platform, as in pc and mobile playing together? Or seperate server? If it is together, do you have any ideas to mitigate the huge advantage in actions per minute pc payers will have over phone users? Also do you have any ideas for mitigating the casual nature of a phone market, and their tendencies to remain detatched from communities, thus allowing them to, leave games, troll games, and harrass others on a higher level then even currently (which is already way to high).

When I was young (21-22) I was a police officer, until I injured my leg pretty bad and was forced to work a desk job. I had always been a bit of a computer nerd, having been programming silly little programs since I was maybe 10 years old. So gradually I started getting into computers as a career, first doing IT/helpdesk stuff and eventually becoming a programmer.

Over the years I've alternated between working different jobs and trying to start my own business. After my first 2 businesses failed, I eventually started my current business in 2013. Since then I've built up a nice little business for myself and my team of 3 employees. We do development work and maintain a handful of apps, websites (including atWar), and other software.

Recently I also have a full-time job, working as a full-stack developer for another company. This past year I started hitting a wall with my own business, because in order to do the things I wanted to do to take my business to the next level, I needed large sums of money that I didn't have. I don't have any investors or venture capital behind me -- everything I've done I've had to pay for myself. So last October I decided to go back to work full-time as a programmer to raise extra funds. (You may have noticed my activity on atWar dropped off significantly around that time... this is the reason why.)

Because I have an awesome team, I'm able to maintain my business while I'm working this other job. So my plan is just to continue this job the next year or so... by then the extra money I've earned will have paid for all the things I needed to do (including some things for atWar that will cost a lot). If you don't see me online here as much, now you know why

I won't say a timeline because I don't want to come back later and disappoint everyone with delays. Basically it all depends on how much free time I can invest. As long as I'm working a full-time job besides atWar (see my answer to LukeTan above), my time will be rather limited.

So currently, the reason why we say photons have no mass is because they don't slow down from gravity. When gravity affects photons we get a shift in the wavelength that causes the color to change (think redshift and blueshift). But, your idea that "it's so small for our sensors" matches up with a philosophical-science idea that says we can only prove that something is there, but we can never truly prove that something isn't there

I retired, diferences in opinion no longer made it viable for me to continue supporting this game in a official role.

I offered to pay for another developer and dave took offense to it due to my unwillingness to just pay him to do it. Therefore he started talking shit about me to MY friends behind my back. I can no longer support such a system.

No such thing as a simple ai, this game does not have a grid base to make algorithms off of, therefore the variables, of where to move, what units to buy when to attack, how much to send to attack, when to defend, how much to send to defend, who to ally if anyone, what strategy to pick based on region/scenario and many more. Its just to dificult to make a useful one, and a waste of time to make a stupid one.

Helly, please go away. You insult me by saying you want to pay for a developer "who actually knows what he's doing" (implying that I don't know what I'm doing). Then you go on to explain how I "don't know how most of atWar works" and that you want to "see some progress" . No sympathy for the fact I work a full time job. No understanding that what you see as a lack of skill is actually just a lack of time on my part. And all this after I've defended you many times in the past, including when you almost got fired from the supporters for getting into a bunch of drama with other supporters. And still you don't know why I'm offended?

I would very much like to have an AI to play against, but unfortunately it's not a simple task. It may happen someday but it will take a lot of work.
