A set of upgrades for duels?

So, I was talking with a higher rank yesterday, trying to learn a bit. I learned that a no-upgrades game can ruin the standard 3v3 meta games, like for example Ukraine apparently.
So I was thinking, at least for duels only (though maybe also for 3v3 and other approved competitive games?) to have a set of upgrades for everyone.

Example: You can set it so in your duel, even if the opponent doesn't have the all-important inf upgrades, they can still have them. You could have some of your upgrades removed too, or added. What I'm saying is upgrade wise, you and your enemy will be on equal footing, same flexibility for expansion, same counters or whatever.

I did a super-quick search and couldn't find a thread for this, but I guess I'll look a little bit more.

The problem about this is that you won't get to practice with them so it's no use. Why going to a cw with a set of upgrades you haven't had the opportunity to practice with?

Most of them don't require practice, it's only the range ones that would need some for some more complicated expansions.

Range and cost... both influence a lot. Also the transport capacities and some others in certain circumstances as well. If you haven't tried them, you will find yourself being able to do things you couldn't do before.

Range and cost... both influence a lot. Also the transport capacities and some others in certain circumstances as well. If you haven't tried them, you will find yourself being able to do things you couldn't do before.

Cost and capacity are quite intuitive to get used to straight away imo, and even range not considering special expansions but w/e.
