Forts instead walls

Free forts instead walls cause i am wasting much time on building those, while free forts would compensate, and units only to serve as defensive lines

No, this would change the gameplay too much. Plus, why free forts when u have to pay say 90 coins for 3 militia to wall a city.

Also, there are forts in custom maps.

The forts/bunkers can be fixed defensive positions. Non transportable, and with 0 range. Ivan and Amok have added a new 'buildings' to the units tab. Maybe these could be added.

Even if not, I plan on adding them to my custom maps anyways. Well, once the map editor comes out.....in 2067

Instead of milita or its cost whatever, point is not wasting time on building walls specially in big maps like ggg, if u run UK,France,Spain or some other big impery i am wasting to much time on building walls instead of tactical moving troops and making politics with other players

I don't think forts would serve much purpose. But, I would support some sort of "Auto-Wall" button that forms your basic 3-unit wall around a city for you....just a simple time-saver that wouldn't affect game mechanics.....Although most people have learned to throw up 3-unit walls pretty quickly already.....

It would solve wf cause many ppl leave games cause of wf specially where cities r to close

...or just use short-cut keys for walling.
