Why do marines have +1 defense bonus in defense lines?

Marines can't even make defense lines...?

No it isn't. Few players can actually make a "Marine Defense Wall." I've done it 6 times. I don't do it a lot because requires to be attacked 1st and is very hard to set up unlike Militia and Infantry walls.

It still makes no sense. I have never made marine defense lines, but I guess others have. Still, you can agree with me that they are useless and arcane.

It is a prank. A hilarious one too. Militia have the same defense as marines in a defense line, so you might as well make a militia defense wall, as it doesnt need to be attacked beforehand, and its so much easier, cheaper, and easier to get.
