Eh...I don't know a whole lot about BTC, but you're going to have charge (Hypothetically) like, 0.2 BTC for monthly premium, or something small like that, since BTC is currently worth $119.36 USD, and they seem to fluctuate a lot as well, so it would be tricky to set pricing and all that shit I would imagine.

Keep in mind, I'm not very researched on BTC, so if I'm wrong, just correct me.

I am well aware of Bitcoin, but I do not have faith in the currency.

If you want an in-depth look at Bitcoin through an extremely interesting podcast, I suggest the Sixgun (podcast) episode on it.

I think there is no harm in accepting them whatsoever and it may just draw some interest to the game. Personally though I don't think it will go anywhere and will lead most investors into a cruel Ponzi scheme-like thing.

I think that merchants that accept bitcoin payments immediately convert bitcoin to normal currency. Most buyers would not be keeping a sizable amount of bitcoin either (unless they want to speculate). So basically, you buy some bitcoin and immediately use these to make your purchase.

There are 2 advantages to doing this:
1) Fees: Unlike credit cards or banks, bitcoin does not charge high fees (I think most credit cards charge the merchant at least 2-3%). I think Bitcoin fees are around 0.01$/transaction (or lower).
2) Anonymity: All bitcoin transactions are anonymous. This meaning you don't know where the money is coming from. It's considered a "libertarian" currency. On the other hand, it also facilitates things like black market transactions.
